Hi, OEM part alfa num 46474712
A couple of pounds from any general supplier. Many aftermarket brands..
A must have on shelve for any 3200 owner. When it failed it undervalued the temperature on mine. Could be dangerous...
Cheers
Hi, we think it should be OK, but not 100% guaranteed of course. I tested it with a compressor and values seem fine as best as I could do with 2 hands.. To my knowledge it has not been mounted on a 32 yet. I keep mine stored as long as my repair works (thanks to SM)
It s not that complicated if you are reasonably equipped. I à had mine refurbished but some are compatible with a bit of work on the mountings. Joeley took that option. Autoclim is just there for refilling after job done. I m sure you can find refurbishers and refillers in the UK.. The dryer is...
I live quite close to Monthlery, south of Paris.. I put those blades as I was looking for a cheap replacement (and for only 1 or 2 storms a year...). But if you have some spare originals Don t bother indeed.
Hi Tony
I do have these on my 32. I took the AR 550 S
They are fine the passenger side is just a bit away on about 2 cm at the corner when down but nothing bad. Work perfectly.
If you want to take a look...
Exactly. Some did that too. If ever you decide to go for the rivet solution, you have to pinch it a bit to reduce. Remember it's highly scientific:yeah:
2 holes exactly opposite seems normal. but I don't think they vent and yours has been drilled in the inside as well. It is possibly a solution to avoid a different hissing sound. I put a coin that if you block theese holes you will have a hissing sound (but different) at idle when hot.
If yes...
Hi,
I'd be interested as well for a pair. And congrats for your initiative ! Please let us know when/how to pay and process.
Sorry to ask this question here, but I'll have to disassemble one headlight soon, and I'm sure I've seen recently a member describing how he managed to open them...
Whaou I just caught up with this story. What a project! I almost envy you (almost...).
Could you tell us where you managed to source the bearings (main, big and end float schims) ? All in Italy as I understand but from whom? As they are quite scarce at the moment..
Finally no turbos...
We are plenty to have it on our 3200. It s a perfect fit. The only difference is that it opens at 80 celcius, vs 85 for the original. OK 5 degrees theoretical difference... For me 80 is fine on our old engines..
Hi,
Happy to be aligned with the majority of this poll.
I personally enjoy coming here and read point of views also on other topics than maserati technics. Imho, if a group of people share a common interest then they are more prompt to discuss on different subjects, should they be conflictual...
Hi Alpa, always great to read your in depth analysis and learn things..
So for a 2l 24v (like a racing ;)) we can swap the chains with vw 2l GTI?
Do you know if the 3,2 heads are similar (+2 pistons) design than the v6 24v? Again for the chains even if supposedly lasting forever on the...
Hi, the only limp mode I happened to have was a p1226 error indicating the pedal pot. It doesn't mean it s this pb for you but could be. The good thing is that you have on this forum the world's best producer of contactless pedal pot for 3200. :D
Yes David Askew provides alternative oil sensor...
Superformance sells the tie rod end assembly (GE15C + rings). The job is not that hard though, the more difficult being to find the proper motivation to start the job and to fit the tie rod back may be tricky...
You may want to take a look here for photos, but I'm sure you'll find a lot on SM as...
Welcome and congrats for your purchase. It's always nice to see France is still attracting (when some French wonder sometimes when to escape...)
Just a question, nothing in mind yet, but what kind of service will you offer ? Any specialties ? mecanic only ? bodyworks ? Do you have a website ...
Hi, the original GTV (taht looks exactly the same as Mase can be used for sourcing, but the gear is different (the dented plate is welded 3cm dirfferently).
BUT, some guys in France have managed to install the replacement of the original GTV, (see below). It's on this one that there is a...
