    What you drinking now?

New Zealand is just about the only country I'd like to visit

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Thought of mine as we had a play up and down the Kirkstone Pass and Struggle - road surface on Kirkstone was European-esque and virtually no traffic as there was a sign saying 'road closed' - Roary would love it.

Warning - Unmarked toll roads in Portugal

They did - despite no longer being in the EU some EU countries, eg Portugal, seemingly have an agreement with the UK that they can track us down for speeding and other penalties - like my offence

Warning - Unmarked toll roads in Portugal

A bit like Spain, when the Portugese build a motorway style road it has a toll, until it's build cost is covered and then the toll is removed. However the Portugese, being a bit short of cash, can then reinstate the toll - so you don't pass through any toll booths, etc - just warnings you need...

    Where are ya Drinking Now?

A bit smart for us - the Thurnham Hall Hotel near Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland (worth a visit) - but a bit of practice prior to joining the red trouser brigade for their Northern Lights bash

I wandered, lonely, on a cloud

Bring her up to the Forest of Bowland - beautiful area (an AONB), so you can create your own poetry; but the road surfaces........... (even worse than Surrey's, if you can believe that)

    What is this?

I also drop the drivers window slightly before switching off - just in case.........

    Pic of the day

I think we've driven some of those roads - not in those conditions fortunately, as they were scary enough as they were.

And we've got crocuses pocking their heads thru' too - meant to go to Birlingham near Pershore last Sunday as they have a fantastic early spring flower display (and coffee and cake) but.........

    The good morning thread

Morning all - and it's a quick trip to East Grinstead to collect the suspension refurbed S2000 - very excited as the work sounds amazing from the comments and pix the Japanese Car guru has been sending us. Whilst we may moan about the delicate suspension for Maseraties at least it gets fiddled...

West of England and South Wales Events - General Information for Events in the Area

That's a very brave offer @MarkMas - are you sure you wish to make it given the amazing speed ;) at which I drive nor am I so good on left and right, but I do understand 'your side and my side'. However I'd be happy to accept.

West of England and South Wales Events - General Information for Events in the Area

Me - it's a good event - I've been before. I just have to find a navigator (MrRR works weekends) - any volunteers (but with MrRR as navigator I'm used to winning the Treasure Hunt, so no pressure :) )

A few of us on here like a little French car

Just to keep boring miles off Roary I was looking but couldn't find anything to south of France for a Corsican play.

The Japenese specialist doing our project could have built original s2000 shocks from parts that are on the shelves in Japan but said that modern shocks are better - and we can fiddle with them so they feel like the originals - tho' the car is bound to feel a bit different with restored...

An example of what we received yesterday showing the Honda's suspension restoration project - Maserati isn't the only brand to suffer with parts becoming NLA

    Pic of the day

That can happen to all of us - I know - even the s2000 was trailered down to East Grinstead last week for some suspension restoration spurred on by a broken shock - seems the poor cars underneath could have been in better fettle Owner obviously doesn't think much of it either using an open...
