CHEAP.....BUT FAR FROM THE FINEST 4200 I'VE EVER SEEN

Stick it on some Coilover suspension, new brakes and tyres and use it on track

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Reinstalled the centre console after de-stickying and painting it. What a grim job that is. Scratched the plastic slightly which is annoying but still a massive improvement on when I got the car. Just need to finish the coin tray and install that.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - still the bizz?

Got the contis on my QPV as well. Great tyre. Also run them on my daily A6 estate and seem to be wearing about the same rate as the goodyears I ran previously (AS5)

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Unfortunately no. Bell sport and classic are up closer to me around the herts/beds border

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a claret/maroon one in all the weeks I’ve been watching. All either black or white with the odd silvery blue one. Are you after a Sport GTS or an S? I think an S might be out there but I’d be surprised if there was that combo in a GTS. Ideally I’d like an emerald...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Removed this old piece of PPF on one side (behind the rear door) that’s been annoying me since I got the car. What a pig of a job getting all the glue off. Still got the other side to do. Before pic on trailer. Rest are afters

Got a few pics of the new one awaiting shipment. Exhaust is power craft which is still quite a bonus. And another infotainment setup with what appears to be an alpine unit up front with the buttons where they should be. And the original infotainment somehow wired in the boot!

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Had the QPV Sport GTS serviced / inspected at Bell Sport & Classic. First inspection its had since I imported it and pretty happy with the results. As expected super clean underneath (inspection noted possibly one of the cleanest theyve seen underneath), generally clean bill of health apart from...

well I guess I wont know if I like the exhaust until it arrives. although this video gives me some hope I dont arrange the shipping. The agent in Japan takes care of all of that. Ill prob ask them to ship it the same way my first one was shipped which was a shared container.

It’s an aftermarket exhaust of some kind. My best guess would be either a Kresseig or a Powercraft system. My hope is that it’s the former.

I think the only thing I know for sure is I want one in either Rosso Magma or Bianco Fuji. The greys and blues do nothing for me. Ideally leaning towards the Red as I don’t want to be the clown with 4 white cars. I’m basically torn between an Aston Martin Vanquish 2 or a GT MC-S. the Maserati...

Fair play Paddy. Its nice to know there are members here that are more foolhardy than myself. That said, from not even looking at Maseratis last year, I seem to have gotten the bug and am now looking for a GT MC Stradale for the weekend.

co-habiting so divorce isnt on the table. If she kicks up too much of a fuss I'll just pack her bags and leave them at the door for her lol. Ive assured her its only temporary as one of the two will be sold. Unless she wants us to have matching his and hers QPVs

The previous purchase was the first QPV (the 2012).

That would work if she didn’t ban me from Japanese auction sites after my last purchase.

Hi, my name is Jit and I think I might have a problem. With the printer ink barely dry on the V5 for my first imported QPV Sport GTS, I was a little tipsy the other night and bid on a near identical QPV Sport GTS in Japan (my first is a 2012 Sport GTS in white with a red leather/black alcantara...

    Independent Maserati specialist in Kent?

I wouldnt be letting whoever did that PPI get away with that (assuming that it was done fairly recently both in terms of mileage and time). Sounds like theyve just stolen the money off you and did next to nothing if they've missed things like a PAS cooler leaking and brakes worn. THe others I...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

5 min job to replace the slightly sticky and faded centre vent with a shiny new one. Sod paying 450 dollars to have it refurbed when a new one is less than half that (yes I know it’ll prob go sticky at some point but it’ll definitely outlast my projected ownership of the car). Also picked up new...

Soft touch remover > Sticky button magic

so first thing you need to do is remove the vinyl bases in the cup holder behind the shifter. removing those vinyl bases (i used a pick to pry out one corner of it first) will reveal two bungs covering two allen head bolts. Theres another allen head bolt in front of the 12v socket (under the...

Soft touch remover > Sticky button magic

Ill try and put a guide together in a bit when I get back if the weather permits. With regards to the gear indicator thing, I used alcohol and it rubbed the old print off. I found a seller on ebay selling a new sticker for it and it fit perfectly
