    116 Giulietta

Fair point, although I would argue mine has been ignoring that fact for years - not all old Alfas rot

    QP IV

OK now moved, got it out of it parking spot and on to the drive. A few runs up our shared private road, clutch, brakes, steering all fine, electrics might need some work, 3 windows open one is stuck, central locking has always been a bit hit and miss and the alarm keeps triggering setting of the...

    QP IV

Well there she blows, pinched the battery of the Alfa, turned the key and the old girl fired up no trouble at all. No unhealthy noises and settles into a smooth idle with that lovely V8 burble made better by having no rear boxes in the exhaust system. Next stage is to get her to move from where...

Member Status post count / definitions

Ah the black art of status changes, a process only understood by our esteem leader Matt and his motley crew

    RFT's

That is some size and certainly not as big as the RR but mine seem to handle the 500BHP adequately enough

    RFT's

Should have got a Range Rover, I get a full size spare under the boot floor no problem

    RFT's

Never use RFT, every car I have driven with them has been horrible and the few I have owned were swapped within a week and were much better for the change.

2005 QP for sale - just serviced

That looks lovely, nice colour combo and great service history, 60% wear at 43k is good going a few more miles before that will need doing.

    QP IV

So had a few hours working on this today, got the battery charged up, removed seats and carpets and gave the interior a real good clean. Opened the bonnet, oil and filter swap and topped up fluids and did a manual turn over to check all still free. Will hopefully try to fire her up over the...

Main dealer service history - is it important?

Main dealer service history is nice to see but doesn't necessarily mean it was done better than an independent. In my mind service history is one of many factors in buying any car more so with a performance car but if I could see evidence of being done, detailed invoices, I would be less...

Whats going on with fuel prices?!

Supermarket prices are driven by local competition hence why they differ from place to place even across the same town, I filled the Giulietta in Aylesbury Tesco for 122.6, 10 miles down the road in Buckingham Tesco 124.9.

Had them both out today, both great but both totally different
