Hey Phil! Yes we are 29 km outside Poitiers.
As you say, pretty dry these days. It’s actually pleasant when we have a downpour! Have discovered several excellent local wine producers and turned up in my van several times filling up.
‘10 bouteilles sir..? Non, 10 cases Monsieur!
We’re in a little village called Vasles. Typically french small village with a baker, butcher, Spar and a Bistro. That is it!Poitiers…That wasn’t far from where used to go on holiday. A little village called Meleran. A chap on here had a little cottage that we went to about 4 times on the bounce until he sold it. Such a relaxing holiday. Remember the signs for Poitiers.
I think a few more boxes could be fitted in there...Managed to squeeze 74 bottles into the boot of the GT. Who says they are not practical?!

Yes. First you should buy a bigger wine rack!

Bigger wine rack?
I have to agree... some of the small Champagne house operations, in what look like their garage, produce some great bubbles.Local wine maker has a working relationship with a champagne producer. This is their Reserve, a Non-vintage blend containing some older vintages. Absolutely awesome and comparable with far more expensive £50-100 per btl Champagne houses.
Looks like another trip back in the GT
