Was that the bike she bought new Newton ?
Best get her some boots and a lid now :)

It is near identical Phil, we have the original in the shed but it is a shed! I’m working at transferring the ref over. This is the one I won on eBay a couple of months ago for £1,200 and has been sympathetically restored with 100% parts! I changed the oil & filter yesterday and cured most of the oil leaks. My understanding is it is still running in after a rebuild. It is running really rich and will need the carbs sorting but chuffed with it so far.

A very good morning to all. So very excited this morning ….Off to Goodwood after our overnight star in Southampton. Few things I’m looking forward to. The Lotus stand. Aston Martin obviously and hopefully seeing an MC20 in the flesh for the first time.

A very good morning to all.

Great day at Goodwood yesterday. Some lovely cars there and for me the highlights were the McLaren Artura…Best looking McLaren so far with some lovely detail when seeing one up close. Lotus Emira didn’t disappoint as well. Great design and not sure there is a better looking new car for the money. Lotus Eletre - Best looking SUV out there for me and the New V12 Vantage surprised. So much better in the flesh than picture. Looked really aggressive. But star if of the show for me was the MC20. What a car….Just perfect from every angle. Maserati has certainly nailed this car. So good to see thrown back on form. To balance that up though I really like the Grecale in the press release and was looking forward taking a look around one but it really underwhelming. Perhaps because it was surrounded by so many stunning cars….

Dan and Alex did get a photo with the legend that is Nigel Mansell. Jenson Button went past twice but both times said he didn’t have time for a photo…and Mika Hakkinen also didn’t have time. 102257

Good morning all, back in work after a weekend oop norf, I must say British drivers are $hite...poor lane discipline and not wanting to be overtaken by a Suzuki Swift.

The best was a VW Passat (KR07BDX), constantly in the outside lane not pulling over even when nothing was in the inside two lanes. I didn't have the power to undertake him. This went on all the way down the M40 till we got to Wycombe where the 3 lanes become 2 and the traffic is snarled up 5miles before. I moved to the inside lane, knowing that it moves faster than the others and the Passat is stuck in the outside lane. Miles down the road I see the Passat fly down the hard shoulder. Cue unmarked police car lighting up like a Christmas tree and karma is served... plus 6 points a hefty fine no doubt.

Morning all
yep middle lane drivers, just don’t get it, pull the f’ over. I’ve flashed them and they seem to think I’m being an idiot

if your in the inside lane and they are on the outside going slower than you and it’s safe, I understand you can undertake as long as you don’t pull in undertake and pull back out.
thanks Martin feeling better now :)

have a good day all
