Interesting, but I hope they don’t ruin the looks.
The 3200 has its issues but the visuals aren’t one of them.
They already have. Just look at the fussy, oversized body kit they’ve put on it. Why not just leave that part alone?!

When I learned something about the 3200 GT then it's, that it gives you headache sometimes (many times) maintaining it.
But it's impossible to make it look any better. The design is flawless!!

He is a brave man drilling all those holes to stand the new panels off the car in his display, but then I suppose they are all going away anyway.

I am intrigued, but agree, it is very hard to improve on perfection!

Why... on a car you may not be able to get new parts for?

The shape is one of the best things about the 3200, sticking on plastic panels aka Citroën Saxo will make it look like cheep tack....and how thick are those doors going to be?

would like to see the finished article. The display looks messy. I would also agree that the 3200 shape is becoming a classic, and its shape and styling is probably its greatest attribute, its a beautiful car. That's why I bought mine, saw one in London one day and just had to have one. Much ado about nothing methinks.

Obviously it’s a great design but, to me it’s not perfect. That godamn awful seam across the nose is grating. Such a shame.

It is, I've seen some 3200s with a black gasket between bumper and body that makes it look a million times better, can't find a part no for it though, how was it remedied for the 4200? A full depth bumper?

Not often I agree with your comments regarding the 3200! Always seemed strange that they hid the seams between the front wings / windscreen etc and then were happy with the nose arrangement. those with a gasket / sealer often look better but the 4300 joints at headlamp is much neater.

They shortened the front wings and made the bumper seam along the bonnet shutline.

Better headlights so you can actually drive it in the dark would be my number 1 improvement :) The shape is perfect especially the rear, it can look a bit odd from a 3/4 view, not sure how you'd fix that though.

Not sure what it's trying to be to be honest.

The base car is a beautiful GT, the result looked like a pumped up version, with a design that is trying to be contemporary.
The issue is that it is now neither the elegant original nor a modern super or hypercar.

I'm all for customization and improvements, but this is - from my standpoint - neither of those.

(risking to open Pandora's box here, but what does make sense to me is putting boomerang lights on a 4200/Gransport/Spyder :bandit: )
