Bath? They’ll be in hot water and soapy bubble for that! Looks like a failed getaway car attempt to me, possibly the robber duck. I’ll bet the driver made a clean getaway.

No-claims bonus down the plug hole tho!
Don't give up the day job with that shower of puns.

In my eyes the E9 Coupe is one of the prettiest cars of all time and there are quite a few restomods out there fitting modern mechanicals and making this one awesomely cool daily driver

I knew that the group 5 and IMSA Batmobile race cars used a twin cam rather than the standard 3.0 engine but only found out recently Ford did the same with the Capris.

"He was the heart and soul of our testing program (…) He took a pile of ****, the Daytona Coupe, and made it work (…) The first time it went down the straightaway, Ken said, 'My God, the rear end came a foot off the bloody ground going down the back straight at Riverside at 155 mph.' It took about three months to get it right. We didn't have money to go to a wind tunnel. We put cotton tufts on it and every one of them went forward. Every day, Ken Miles was out there testing (…) In the end, he made the thing work." Carroll Shelby 1923 - 2012 84551
