NE Salvage aka TVR Glen doesn't have a great rep.

I wonder why he picks these up as he doesn't break them and the market for a car like this must be small.

Needs lowering springs to make it look right. The current height makes it look like an off roader.

SPKenny’s I believe. We chatted about repair but the unknown path made him take the payout.

So ball park, and as you have been there Phil; what would this cost me for you to fix it up with a new top end?
There's a lot of unknown quantities there Peter as it's a non runner.
When I did mine it was running but no oil pressure due to failed oil/water pump unit.
That part alone back in 2014 was £1500.
Another engine would be the way forward.

If you're paying somebody to do the work by the time you've bought an engine and paid the labour you'll be at the same money as a good one

It looks cheap but it's not cheap enough , especially if you find the electrics are knackered

From personal experience I'd only ever buy an engine I saw running and knew the mileage , not one on a pallet

The BMW engine I bought on a pallet didn't sound so good running
