That doesn't sound that routine, and certainly not what I had when I had my over 50s check NHS or my private full screen

I was surprised to get the NHS letter, August 2019, it was part of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, quote "invitation for bowel scope screening, designed to save lives from bowel cancer by finding growths in the bowel that might eventually turn in to Cancer" i must of been a VIP ;), actually letter says its offered to men and women aged 55

50 in 8 weeks FFS

Never though as a child I would get this far. Ok, there are still 8 weeks.

Feel no different from 40, or 30 if I’m honest.

The only annoying bit it the salt and pepper accents in my dark hair and the 80’s Don Jonson designer stubble is white on my chin and if left 5 days/too long I look more Dr Snuggles.

I always said I would never dye my hair, (with the exception of 1980’s highlight experiments) what’s the consensus from the duffers on here?
Go grey disgracefully....none of that American business man chestnut brown stuff. :saifi:

On one of my first dates with Karen we got onto the subject of operations, I told her that I had a circumcision at the age of 21. She started welling up. I asked what was wrong, and she replied.......So we could never have children then??!!
Discussing children at such an early stage in your relationship and not running for the hills. Well done!:)

I must admit that It helped a tad that her parents were stupidly wealthy!! And then I found out that they all lived to bloody ripe old ages......DOH!

Female friend of my Mrs, a Chartered Accountant, thought babies came out of a woman's pee-hole and wondered how do they fit?
