...are you looking forward to finally getting to post lockdown?

Ace Cafe seems many moons ago and can’t wait for Le Mans but I do think it will still be a closed doors event again in 2021.

Would like to do a new UK one, any suggestions. I think we should have a drive out to it.

End of lockdown is seeing people. But a bit more back to normality would be racing and hillclimbing for me.

If you’ve never been I’d suggest a round of the British Hillclimb Championship. Prescott and Shelsley are favourites.

Oulton Park Gold Cup

Spa Six Hours - Sept so more of a chance than LM

My step mum has been diagnosed with cancer and been given a few months to live. I tried to scare her in the GS last year and she didn’t think it was scary enough.

I’ll be back soon in Nottingham (in they let me back) and will hopefully hire something to scare the **** out of her.

Sorry to hear about your step mum, chap. We like Nottingham a lot. In fact we have tickets booked to see The Human League in Nottingham next year. Mrs C picked that venue because she likes the hotel I used to stay at for work and loves Memsaab restaurant.

Last race/weekend of the BTCC normally at Brands Hatch.
Thats normally first weekend in October so plenty of room for normality to return.

The photoshoot season. Never thought I’d miss getting up at 3am to drive to Wales to shoot cars up a mountain in freezing fog, but hey...
Stuttgart/Essen/Retromobile - not been to Padua
Also have something planned with the 156

Life returning to some sort of normality
Seeing the kids again
Replacing my BMW 650
Trip through France to Annecy and over to Italy
Do some motoring events if they happen
A music festival (latitude if it’s on)
Failing that staying fit and healthy

Well, my first planned event, already looking dubious for April, has just been postponed. Not directly due to the pandemic but due to Imola getting a Grand Prix again! Due to the pandemic.......

Come up north, well stocked staging post , road trip to the lakes back to a well stocked staging post and hotels. Return home. Weekend roadtrip SM style. I can even organise some musical entertainment if required for the night time beer session.
