I looked at this and the Jag XE when changing. I went with the Jag in the end even though my heart wanted the Alfa. I've got the P250 petrol engine which pulls and handles well and is quick enough although not as nice as the Alfa's. The main issue for me though was the interior; admittedly it was a 2019 spec Alfa but it felt dark and claustrophobic, the seats were hard and the infotainment poor (now upgraded). The Jag was light years ahead especially in HSE spec (and SWMBO preferred it).

I still love the look of the Alfa but am very happy with mine.

You won’t be disappointed with the Alfa nice looking car and the veloce 280hp goes really well. If you stretch do for the ti has upgraded interior 19 inch wheels and carbon trim.

Agreed. I couldn't find the ti option in the website for some reason. I can add all the carbon as options at silly price but not as a ti package with wheels etc. Also, there is a ti advertised under Pentagon and it has 19's but nothing else so I am confused. I read it was the QF carbon and wheels bolted on the 280 but no can findy. :f5:

Before house renovations halved my budget, I looked at the Giulia QV, an M2 and a GranTurismo. The Alfa was miles ahead of the others in terms of performance, handling and the way it made you feel. Not to mention practicality, (bizarrely). I’d have one in a heartbeat.

However, it’s very annoying that the UK doesn’t get the manual version. If it did, I can’t think of anything in that segment/price point, that could hold a candle to it.

I also found the Alfa dealer in Nuneaton, (called “Research Garage”, I think), to be the best dealership I’ve ever dealt with, by some considerable margin.
