The speed at which the latest lockdowns are activated may well be the best way to control the virus / 2nd wave, but they will slow / put at risk any potential recovery as people just can’t plan anything with any certainty.
Just about everyone I know who was planning a late summer trip overseas has cancelled ( I have my fingers crossed for the SM LeMans trip but if I had been going I would have bailed by now).
4+ months in and I still can’t believe what we are going though.
And people just are not taking it seriously, my son walked out of Pizza Express StAlbans yesterday as tables were not socially distanced and waitresses/ waiters were not wearing masks or visors.

Stay safe everyone - the virus is still out there !
What they gonna do with the 3rd, 4th, 5th waves etc etc come a rolling on through.

Politicians talk like the 2nd wave is gonna be it.

Evening gentlemen.
I’ve been following this thread closely and am aware that many of you are running low on PPE.
I may be able to lay my hand on a few masks we have lying around.
They were specially designed for HM Govt to improve breathing and reduce the feeling of claustrophobia through increased ventilation.

Pm if you’d like a few thousand.

On past evidence I doubt it, don’t think Boris knows how to use a boob containment device.

Admittedly, he probably had more experience taking them off. I doubt he hands around long enough to see it put back on.

I imagine Boris is already very familiar with this device!
Indeed I am.
Unfortunately the Uk PPE contract Id agreed with Victoria Secrets for their “lacy mask” range came in at £151,000,000 so Trump was able to negotiate the above deal with granniesareus.com.

Interested to Read the SNP have said ending the Furlough scheme could put 1000's of jobs at risk.

Surely the Scottish government can choose to carry on paying the Furlough scheme if they wish too...….

All I can say is it’s not social distancing. It’s social dodging. Walk into town with wife and it would seem the North East tourist population have turned up. Good for the local shops I guess. And bars.

Somethings afoot. Wife told me it was to warm today for diy. Told me to relax and just offered me a beer. Now I am really really worried.
