Wattie. Would you post John Campbell's latest vid please. Posted on YT a short while ago. Makes for very sobering reading. Specifically the Ro if no effective quarantine. Am away from house, so can't do it myself.
Best, all.

Typo,!
luckily you are too late to buy it. Did you read the prospectus?

This is not a pandemic. It is contained.

Governments will continue to test people via a temp gun,
they will continue to quarantine those infected for 14 days,
even if 28 days has been recorded for infection.
Several thousand infected have been cured,
a few got reinfected....but no probs.
Borders will remain open,
Health services are prepared.

Absolutely no one at all is at risk.

The WHO solely is involved in this decision....we may have been told this by our bond holder investors.

WHY HAS NO-ONE IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA QUESTIONED THE WHO OVER THIS BOND MATURITY in July.

**** off.

Earlier US Oil Company Chevron closed it's London office in the Canary Wharf after two workers displayed symptoms. Later other offices in the building at Westferry Circus sent staff home over coronavirus fears.

How long until everything is shut down at this rate?

Although ironically Iranian police have arrested 24 people accused of spreading rumours about the coronavirus online, AFP news agency reports. :rofl5:

A further 118 internet users were "talked to and let go" with warnings, the head of Iran's cyberpolice force Vahid Majid said.

A special unit has been created to combat "rumour-mongers" about the spread of coronavirus, Mr Majid said.

I wonder what "talked to and let go" in Iran is? Removal of a hand? :as003::rofl5::as003::rofl5:

You should avoid Iran, Wattie. :)

Nothing to see here. As you were.

SARS and MERS (from memory) were quite hard to contract. The high death rates, stopped them from spreading, before the authorities could isolate all those infected. They might've needed a carrier to actually cough in your mouth, for you to contract those viruses.
In comparison, COVID19 is extremely infectious. Authorities believe that it can survive for days (at least) on surfaces and you can breath it in from a person's exhaled breath, even if they're standing a few meters away.
Plus, this virus is infectious, BEFORE you experience symptoms. Possibly after you're ill also. So, by the time you self quarantine, you'll already have spread it.
Its a real ball buster of a virus and there's no way to deal with it. A cure won't be available this year.
Blimey.....I guess then it's not just the direct impact which matters but also the consequential impact when industries and businesses shut down as more people are affected and dont turn up for work which will eventually hit supply lines including food and stuff to the shops! So more serious than what it appears to be on the surface. Glad I live in the middle of no where in Cumbria with only sheep for company!

Good job I've stocked up on grub etc. then..2 months supply. Looks like we may need it if this continues to get worse.

If you really think you need to survive on your own supplies for 2 months, you better really hope it's the middle of nowhere.
In other news, North Italy, the pharmacists and super markets are still open....and have stock
