You must have a big drill bit Phil.......
Size 12 no doubt.
The case for the Defense is accepted Phil. I am slightly worried that Maseratis engineers may stick one on all 4 corners of their new electric beast in a bid to become dietary compliant too.

I failed to weigh in over the weekend, so did so this morning. Progress is not spectacular, but there is progress

Weight on New Years Day: 95.50 kg
Weight on 19th January: 94.05 kg
Weight today: 93.00 kg

This includes an increase to just over 96kg in the first week, so the optimistic way of looking at this is it’s 3kg lost in January.

If I can repeat that every month between now and July, that would be 18kg lost, and I’d be 78kg (12st 4)… ridiculously, this still gives a BMI of over 25!

That's great progress, Jon! Well done!

Just been tortured in the garage. On the positive he told me no running until Saturday!

Slightly disappointed, but not really surprised due to the crappy food of the last week.

Still, progress!

That’s a good effort! you’re still heading in the direction you want....the 0.3% drop in fat is excellent. That’s a lot in a week.

Ok so I’ve had another good week, 6 days of gym/ exercise, usual daily fast, good eating and a deserved junk meal

The result, up on last week. 68kg and 10.7%.

I put this down to, a bigger than expected loss over week 1 (leveling out) and muscle gain. Did a lot of leg work.
The scales tell 1 half of the story and the mirror tells the other. I’m definitely trimmer than I started out at and can see it particularly around the love handles.

Having reviewed the excellent progress others have made I will stick with my current routine and will book a flight to London.

Stick in everyone!View attachment 64667
steady slow progress which after a bit of a lax 10 days is pleasing- Australia Day turned into 3 days!65067

OK I'm in.

I've just got back from 3 weeks in Australia of excessive drinking and eating and last night the scales tipped 18 stone!

I'm an ex rugby player and was 15 stone when playing competitively and have bounced around the 16 1/2 mark for a number of years. I have always been active and relatively fit but have done nothing in the last 6 months since getting myself in shape for the Artemis Quadrathlon last July (which I finished in 15 hours in case you are interested!!!).

I'm expecting a pretty rapid drop (maybe as much as half a stone) over the first 10 days and will then settle myslef back into a sensible eating / drinking / exercise regime and aim to lose 2 - 3 lbs a week.

I'm targeting 16 stone by end of April which shoudl be achievable.

Wish me luck :)
