Not sure whether it qualifies as an icon, though turbo lag was spectacular, but it was a bit different. Sold mine for 10k 25 years ago and it has appreciated even better than the 911SC I bought to replace it!

My Icons were a little more up to date....These two for there motorsport heritage and yearned to own them wen ever I saw one.....I was lucky enough to have both over time. Wish I still did....

Totally agree Andy I haven't owned but lucky for me as a mechanic I have worked on both and road tested them and would rather those in the workshop than today's modern offerings.

It certainly did and when the beautiful Michelle was pedalling one hard and still looking Sexy at the end was sometimes too much for young men.
