A long story but I now own a really nice Lexus GS300 which is a massive amount of car for not much money. It's a 2006 car with only 73k miles on it and the most complete Lexus service history you've ever seen, all performed by the same main dealer. The car is close to perfect, drives like it's new and needs nothing at all unless you want to enter a concours in which case you'll need to refurb the wheels and that's about it!!

Utter bargain considering what you get. Every toy under the sun, from reverse camera to cooled and heated seats, you name it. Keyless, active cornering lights, even has passenger memory for the seats!!

It's averaging about 30mpg around a mixed drive and easily does 38-40 on a run, nothing like as bad as you might expect for a 3l v6. It's also got a stainless Powerflow exhaust which sounds quite nice. Not Maserati nice but subtle when you put your foot down. I've even managed to get a wee device that makes it have bluetooth streaming.

If you're looking for a cheap cruiser that looks a million dollars, look no further.

£3,250. The same as the price of a GTS service, without lambdas!!

PM me for more info and pictures, you'll not find a better one.

Honestly, it's mint this thing. I drove it around today and it felt much more valuable. I sold my Mini and took it as a part-ex from a very good friend.

Before you ask, I bought a Macan.

You can spend more on a diesel to save on fuel but you'll be killing us all with carbon emissions. Planet vs. Mpg.

Save £3.5k on your budget, spend some of it on petrol and know that it’s won’t depreciate as much as a £7k car.

If I was looking for something to smoke around in, it would be on my list.
Good point.

Slight drift, but which Macan?

I’ve been toying with test driving a Macan turbo

Mega spec Macan S. £27k of options over list. They seem to hold value very well so I'm hoping to see a good chunk back one day.

Cheers, I'll let him know.

It's in very good condition and worth the effort. Those on here that know me also know that I wouldn't say that unless it was the case. Interior is like new, indistinguishable from the day it rolled off the line.

This. So much so I'm thinking of it for myself. Sam, your brother can have my XF S in Harlow, I'll fly to Glasgow.....
