Looks cheap. Anybody knows this car?

Generally, it looks a nice car. The steering wheel leather facing looks but wrinkly though, not sure if that's common?

There was a manual 4200 in the same colour scheme for sale in Devon earlier in the year. How many blue manuals do you reckon there are?

I had seen this one for sale and thought about it a while back. Been for sale for a while. Looks decent but in the current climate the price is a smidge too far north IMHO. I'd take it for £10k :D

I just find it hard to love the Classico pre-facelift cars. For some reason the facelift makes a real big difference to my eyes. If it were a facelift I would have bought it.

In comparison I am selling a 2005/55 4200 CC Facelift for £12.5k.

I Do. Looks great. The exact opposite of Rockits - when searching I specifically didn't want a facelift. Didn't want the harsher GS ride either.
So searched, and found, as late a non-facelift as possible. In my preferred colours and from Mr G. Couldn't believe my luck.
That said, they're all gorgeous, just a matter of preference. Audrey or Raquel - who'd kick either out of bed.

I think the OP car is the same spec as one that was for sale in Edinburgh a few years ago. PK Supercar connection. That car was serviced way beyond what was required. As Oneball says how many manual box cars in Nettuno?

Well, coincidentally my Blu Nettuno manual 4200 is for sale and I think mine is the one you remember in Edinburgh with the PK Supercars connection. Same crema leather interior as well. I bought it after speaking with Phil at PK who put me in touch with its owner. You’re correct that the owner took it in regularly for the smallest details which has paid off and given me three and a half years’ trouble free motoring. I notice the ad states

This is the rarer manual 4200. There were 1078 manufactured in RHD form of which 214 were imported to the UK

Surely one of these numbers does not stack up? The UK is overwhelmingly the largest market for Euro RHD cars, with Japan and Aus a distant second and third. I'd think either a smaller total production run...or a larger volume shipped to the UK?

Early cars are not easy to sell these days.....as with most V8's.......Not many with miles that low though and does look in good condition. Looking at others for sale don't think it looks like value (well a 15k Maserati is value I suppose). there is lots of unloved rubbish out there these days so if this is a great example price may be about right as that's the starting place and may get 1k off after negotiation maybe.

To compare rarity and LHD/RHD balance against the R129 SL60 I had as an example. Mercedes built circa 300 examples coming into Europe with reportedly 49 RHD and the rest LHD. It is alleged about 700 made globally in total LHD & RHD.

Total manual Coupes manufactured 1078, of these 214 were RHD the other 864 were LHD. I'm guessing as you say the UK got the majority of the 214 RHD production.
