Removed door card, middle micro switch looked a bit gummed up, gave it a poke, window immediately dropped an inch, after a good clean up and mandatory grease here and there, tested both sides, all working as per normal.
Retired for a large Mcallan, before trying the hood, up she went like a hookers drawers, and better still down again.
Thanks for the replies to those that bothered, if I can ever help...

Guys, windows have stoped working again , drivers stoped 2 inch down as per normal on door opening , passengers site is closed , non operational.
Any one opened the roof with the Allen Key above mirror, this would allow roof to move out of the way to allow the door to open, and then I can access the micro switches which I think are causing the problems.
Any thoughts greatly received, thanks in advance..

Hi, I’ve used the emergency procedure for the roof a few times. If you follow the instructions in the handbook word for word it does work. Just take your time as the parts are heavy and you don’t want to damage something.

Have you opened the roof using the Allen key??, the roof is working fine , it's the window I need to get down to open the door...

Yes I have, using the emergency procedure in the manual. You have to release the hydraulic pressure using the screw in the bulkhead behind the passenger seat.

Thanks, I will try the procedure, not as simple as turning the bolt?

I can only speak for the roof procedure, not had a window problem. And I’m no expert. But yes, I don’t see how you can use the Allen key to open the front of the roof without following the rest of the procedure.

Once you reverse the procedure, you’ll probably have to do a battery on/off reset to make the roof work again.

Good luck!
