Looks good, advert says Full Service History - I have just had a look at the reviews, not a bad one among them and a 4.8 out of 5 rating,
I would suggest your sticking point may be what they may offer you for p/x for yours.

The only bit I do not like is the steering wheel, but that is just me...

Very lovely. But at that money I’d be buying a QP GTS, not a QP S with GTS wheels.

Love it. The colour, the wheels, the calipers, the interior is lovely. Needs privacy glass IMHO.

Shame it's not a GTS. Just needs a smidge more power. About 450 is about min in a 2 ton QP.

This....that's GTS money and the depreciation would be huge as soon as you drive it out if the show room surely as it's priced at GTS money ?

That is a lovely example, the leather looks almost new which is hard to maintain with avorio. Could do with the GTS convex grille, but apart from that and perhaps the steering wheel, I wouldn’t change a thing.

The GTS and S are different cars, and although keen drivers may see the GTS as the one to have, some will prefer the slightly softer S for its more limousine like ride. This is a pretty well specced S too with the Alcantara roof lining etc.

In terms of price, it’s top end, but where will you find another/better example with this low mileage in this desirable color combination and spec for less? Suspect the dealer may also have some margin to play with on this car.......

Thank you guys.
As some may know I have an Exec GT and value the comfort and luxury more than the driving performance (I am very very old!). It is coming up for 70,000 miles and my thinking is get a younger lower mileage replacement and that will do me for the rest of my puff (I do about 6000 miles pa) or keep my Exec.
This one has the things I like Sun Roof, Alcantara, plain black dash, piping around the seats, a light interior etc.
So is there a marked difference in comfort between a GTS and an S? Obviously a drive is essential
Also the rear arm rest does not seem to have many controls in it whereas my Exec has massage etc.
There is a lot to like for me in this car though I do agree with some of the observations like the grill........... decisions decisions

I’ve owned a GTS and I currently have an S. The GTS is definitely a firmer ride, not harsh or crashy, but definitely firmer, and it is fixed. Whereas you have the adaptable dampers on the S so you can waft or press Sport and have firmer damping if you want it. I would say the Sport on the S is still not quite as firm as the GTS.

But on my S I have the GTS wheels and GTS springs (only £65 each) which is a rather nice compromise in ride between the S and GTS and it also sits slightly lower. I also have the convex grill which I prefer.

If I didn’t already have one I’d be all over this S

I'm in a similar position. (Although only a bit old, not vv old.) This one is very nice but a bit pricey.

Do it Mark! (But get it checked first) Eb

I really would prefer a grey, green or bordeaux one. Also, I don't a have a chit signed by the 'finance director'. Apparently, we are buying a 2-year-old BMW 4-series convertible next, to replace the Volvo V50 (or maybe a C70 if we can find an outstanding one).

I was offered very recently a 48k miles QPS with full history for £18.5k. I'd not be spending another 11k on one unless it was very special indeed. That's top top money and the only way is down.

A lot of car but a lot of money, I like the spec and colour combination but hate the depreciation that even late QP have but if you are not planning many miles and have a low mileage start point what is not to like.

That is one heck of a price difference and a sobering thought. As a tight Yorkshire man can I bring myself to do that? I do not thinks so. Anyway I have emailed them asking for more and better details - waiting

This place is great at talking people out of buying cars......and talking their value down.

And we’re comparing to a car with nearly double the miles, with full history but presumably unknown cosmetic and mechanical condition with no warranty? And what colourway/spec?

Suppose, after any inspection, this S is as spot on as it sounds/looks cosmetically and mechanically, and you can negotiate a few £k off or improved p/ex. For a car that you are looking to last you for the rest of your driving life, does it really matter if the depreciation is a bit more than on a less spectacular car? You only live once and you can’t take it with you.

Just the facilitator in me........

Don't think that people are talking prices down ..... Just think it's reality with the QP. A GTS is regarding as the pinicle and worth more than an S and when you can get a GTS for that money it doesn't make it as desirable to most. The QP is a beautiful thing and very under priced but they just are buggers to sell on and that is reflected in the used values. It's so much car for the money.

I love the look of it. If it’s a price you’re happy with and you can get a good price trade in then go for it. I guess the depreciation is more relevant if you plan on swapping it again in a few years. Personally I’ve never really looked at depreciation if I got the car I wanted . That could explain why I’m not a millionaire though.
