Just to inform all...gear selection potentiometer changed and for now it looks issue has been resolved. Car runs great, gearshifts are superb.
When old sensor was dismounted I was able to feel just a little play on one of 2 potentiometers, while the new one did not have this play.
So let's hope...
As I know usually HID bulbs start to glow very poor and in a red shade when they go. At least this was my situation in 2 cars already.
I also changed both on my 2009 GTS last year. So if it's just not working could also be something else, but of course first thing to try is bulb, as it's not...
I hope it will not also be the F1 pump at mine, let's wait and see.
My indie has worked on official Ferrari/Maserati service before, now he's on his own, so I know he is competent and knows this cars very well.
He works on Ferraris and Maseratis all the time.
However he doesn't have SD3 tool...
I also found all of this + some other options. As I can see untill now used one will not be an option, as I found none, so I'm already in contact with Eurospares and Scuderia.
The only thing which bothers me, and I have to check is if I have to pay customs for goods from GB.
However it's really...
Everytime when i get trenasmisson ligh, I also get PARK OFF error - but I think that parking brake gets signal from tranny when to engage or disengage, so I would think this is connected with tranny fault.
After some time I also get check engine, but it saies that signa for check engine comes...
Was thinking the same, but tried to save some costs.
As I can see there is almost no option for used one, or price is near the new one, so probably finnaly I'll go with new one.
So I got dreaded Check Transmission, go to dealer light on my 2009 GTS F1.
As we have checked with my indie, the fault is on Gearbox Position Sensor (part number 248095).
It is not completely clear, if the sensors are really faulty, or there is maybe a fault on CAN line, as there are some other...
I have a very very simmilar one from Ebay, and it works OK for changing tyres - I have 2 sets of tyres and rims and change them every spring and autumn.
2 tons capacity is more than enough to lift one side of GT.
When I bought mine 2 years ago it had 80.000 km and needed it first clutch change. If you drive it mainly in sport mode where gear changes are fast with less clutch slippage, and you don't have mainly city stop and go traffic, I think clutch can last a decent amount of kms.
