Maserati Spyder Roof Stuck - UK

An OEM hood with original glass was about £3K when I bought one 2-3 years ago... as a spare, before the various accessories to fit it etc.., so depending what's on offer etc £5k might be the right ballpark

    Gransport variator circuit accumulator

very interested in this one, please do keep us informed how this is working, my car is an occasional use vehicle, I had the NRVs in the heads replaced about 4K miles ago, but I still get the 2 second rattle occasionally when the car hasn't been used for an extended period - so assuming this is...

How to remove the door handle from a 4200

word of advice, getting the mechanism out of the frame through front surface of the door is a bit tricky, remembering how you did it when trying to put it back in - even more tricky!!, recommend putting small bit of masking/ insulating tape around the leading edge of the door frame... just in case

    Formula Dynamics DBW update

Harsh mode on mine doesn't slam me, I think the TCU SW updates over the years made the later cars more GT like for gear changing (so I have been advised), so the harshness of earlier TCU cars may not be as extreme, i certainly don't get it on mine

    Formula Dynamics DBW update

I thought I would post this just for re-enforcement primarily. I finally got around to having the FD DBW unit installed on my 2005 car, transformative is the best word to use for low speed changes and taking off from stop. The throttle response change is noticeable also. At higher revs I...

Removal of wing mirror and painting of mirror base

before going extractor set route, try a narrow old chisel on the outer edge of the screw with a small hammer (lefty loose-y) to see if you can get the thread to budge, that may be all you need - easier if you take the door card off, which takes about 10 mins if you have done it once.

4200 Spyder instrument binnacle removal procedure ?

you have to love Italian electrics, another twist of the cluster backlight rheostat before I was about to disassemble the dash and the instrument backlights are working again.... go figure... not complaining.... 3+ hours of my life back...

4200 Spyder instrument binnacle removal procedure ?

Can anyone advise does this thread largely hold true on the 4200 spyder, as my instrument back lights all stopped when I adjusted the brightness rheostat under the rev counter , I suspect rheostat is knackered… even though it’s an OEM replacement from 2016 with just 3500 miles on it….can’t beat...

    ABS and MSC sensor

I had this, its usually the sensor on one of the 4 wheel hubs that needs replacing it triggers ABS and MSC lights. Check these first before you rathole on anything else. if I recall correctly it was about £200 for a part, an hour labour and a reset with a Leonardo or Maserati dealership device...
