    Parking brake imbalance

Happy to report it simply required adjustment nothing seized at all. Panic over and princely sum of £60 spent. I bought the handbrake shoes just in case but haven't needed them so if anyone wants them happy to pass them on for nothing (as long as postage is covered or collection (York))...

    Parking brake imbalance

Thanks - makes sense. Tbh I do not consciously use it (parked in flat garage). Would https://www.autodoc.co.uk/abs/7717293 work? (If yes, for the money I will get it in regardless) Thanks Sprout

    Parking brake imbalance

Thanks. Seems sensible. Does it require anything specialist or can I try my non 'mas' local garage or does it need diagnostic tools to force it to do something? Strangely it failed on the brake test tool but passed when the certificate was generated so at least it's only an advisory so gives...

    Parking brake imbalance

Hello all Just had an MOT fail on parking brake imbalance. 36 kgf (left) / 290 kgf (right) - imbalance 88% Is this likely to be an easy fix and can it be done by a generic garage or am I in specialist indy territory? Thanks in advance Sprout

Adaptive light control unavailable and failed headlight

@tokyomb - I wouldn't describe myself as that handy! Key thing was it had to come out to find the cracks as they weren't visible unless removed Sprout

Buying a GT and anyone know this car?

For once I can help. This was mine until early 2021 (85k ish miles). I traded in to Kerridges (now closed) in Needham Market. At the point I traded it in (I made them aware) Variators needed doing. Something was 'off' with the power steering - varying amounts of power Damage to middle rear...

    Maserati NLA & Backorder Parts

Forgive my ignorance but if they are required for Ferraris (and the failure rate is equally bad - my 2013 GT with 25k miles has had both fronts done)). Surely there will be a lot more owners complaining. Or is there an alternative Ferrari part no? (and price... (Comments about Ferrari/Mas spare...

When fitting Larini Sport Cats and X pipe are there any other parts one might require?

Hello guys To add to this thread for my 2p worth. I had an X pipe from autoshield which definitely enhanced the experience. I ran this for 18 months and wasn't planning on changing anything. I ended up buying Ash's larini cats (earlier in this thread) and opted to go with sports cats and...

    Mesh Grills

Hi Guys Now that my headlight drama appears to be resolved I was reminded (as I was in at the front bumper) of an issue with my old 911. On it I ended up with a stone puncture through one of the front radiators and the garage (rpm Porsche specialist in Harrogate) recommended mesh Grills for...

    Annual service?

I am booked in yearly with Mario's with a view to oil and filters. I subscribe to his view that it's a good opportunity to keep on top of the suspension etc as well (don't want to wait 2 years to find out I could have sorted it easily if they'd been picked up a year before. Sprout
