Usually the fans have a seperate switching for when the air con is activated, independant of coolant sensor, so if for any reason the fans are not being switched from coolant temp they can still operate when air con selected. However would of thought used same fuse, so maybe another issue, but...

May not be of help to you, but I only have artist and track title on mine and shows both fine, I always delete albulm title off itunes as too much scrolling on some of cars. Or just turn it off and listen to the engine!
