It’s just something we need to get used to but it’s a bit mad, on a down hill stretch of the M1 (slight decline) brake lights on for not reason as RV drives lift off to maintain speed limit, initial reaction of other drivers - brake brake brake…..
Completely agree - taxing these cars is just a few tanks of petrol here in the UK.
I keep all of my cars taxed and insured all year round and use them to get value for money.
For the tax, I am signed out to monthly DD, so it’s all automated.
Easy done, I have a small 3 x 12 plate (not not technically legal, but still gets read by ANPR etc) mounted above the splitter. Only problem is if I get it wrong, I will rip the bumper off, not just the plate.
I know it’s a pain but it could be worth chasing and getting them to sort it.
What looks like a little crease often leads to paint cracking and then one day the paint starting to come away.
Just given the Strad some TLC ahead of Saturday as I won’t have time to do much to it before Saturday and it’s going I be wet for the remainder of the week.
- oil and water
- tyre pressures
- battery on trickle
- hoover
- wash
- autoglym “quick wax” (amazing stuff)
She is under my leaky old OEM...
My Strad lives outside, I only use cover if I have just prepped the car and am keeping it clean for a particular event.
I was using OEM but that has degraded and it not waterproof, so just ordered a Stormshield.
