    Pic of the day

Had the dash cam fitted to the R5 and finally got around to working out the functions and saving clips. Just in time to save this for the local constabulary: crazy overtake captured perfectly.

    E fuel

H2 and fuel cells need very clean air or another bottled gas (O2). H2 used as a fuel for ICE then solubility of the gas in the lubricant has to be an issue.

    Any horologists?

I would open it up and which what happens at 1 and 2 - maybe something is loose or slipping which allows 2 for 1 but 2 onwards is fine.

    June 6th

Know the Normandy area well- wife/teacher school trips to the beaches. There last year with 6 brothers. All my maternal/paternal uncles and aunts served. Took Aunt Clare over withe kids in the mid 90’s and she recalled landing at Arromanches and establishing a hospital in Bayeux. None of them...

    Pic of the day

Ha! Reminds me of my first car - Red Mini with sliding windows and much rust - 23 RTD. Not around any more - no surprise there but the DVLA seems to have dropped the T* usage ( https://www.newreg.co.uk/dvla-number-plate-identifiers/ ) anyone know why?

The Architect does 10’ sketches in his notebook. I saw this one and ignoring the scribbles on the back and said I liked it so it appeared as a Christmas present that year:

    4200 spyder roof cover stuck

Yes, grease on the tonneau catch mechanisms and grease the pull-down pins (lightly). If the rear cover is not released quickly or sticks, then the chances are the pin motor commutators are dirty. See this for the solution...

A few of us on here like a little French car

…. So I took the tape measure out - both the same width and the DS ~900cm longer; pumped up the DS is a bit lower but inside it’s startling - R5 front is not too tight, DS front could take 3 on a bench seat - rear R5 is a squeeze for 2 whereas the DS rear has taken 3 in comfort describing it as...

    Why a Maserati?

Rings bells: Small Citroens, kids, big Citroens, Alfa33s, the Busso Lusso, Alfa TS spiders, and Renault Espace. Saw the 3200 in Meridien Modena and thought ‘one day’. Now with the Spyder but still keep looking at the 3200’s
