If you drove it with a mind to economy in sport mode ,would it still drink more than in normal mode ? That open exhaust in sport mode has got me thinking....

HI This is my first post :) I don't think a crank shaft end cap would cause valve kiss . The crank shaft is held in place by several bearings along its length. A big end, end cap might ... if the big end end cap came loose then the upper shell bearing could dislodge and the piston could move...
