Evening all, I have a QP 4.7s and recently the fuel indicator drops to zero and stays there. Occasionally going over a road hump brings it back to life albeit temporary - any ideas how to trace the problem?
thx
Anyone tried the Brembo P 50 092 front pads, and are they oem equivalent ? (i'm guessing so as these are Brembo). At £60 it would seem to be a bargain?
Unlikely to be the injector but most likely the vacuum solenoid valve, might need some padding around it to avoid transmission of the ticking through the frame - not serious but annoying nevertheless.
i have to say that in my QP 4.7s there were no overt valves, definitely no electronics connected to the mufflers. For my aural pleasure I went for valved mufflers from a GT and extended the tails and added a manual switch to toggle between asbo and full asbo :alan4:
Then you are fine, the exhaust is a straight swap over. To use the valves you have 2 options:
the FD remote kit or
Build your own kit with a simple switch so you can turn the valves on or off without interfering with the sports button, if you PM me ill give you details of how I did it
regards...
