Fitting an Exhaust valve Controller wiring routing help please

I fitted mine about 10 years ago so details are a bit sketchy but from memory…. The cable that comes with the unit was quite short so we ran another bit of cable down through the car and used that to get power direct from battery. There was a small gap to the right-hand-side that we fed a cable...

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

You can ping them on this forum @A.S. Motorsport. They responded to me with in a day or two. Prices quoted were in euros so you might need to check if there are additional taxes for uk.

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

I have to say it took up a lot of my mental capacity and time over the last week or so. Ultimately it kept coming back to not wanting to sell it. Thankfully @conaero has taken a look and expects to be able to fix it along with the bushes and rear abs sensor that’s just started playing up...

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

Agreed…just battling the headache of getting it fixed vs the knocked down price. If I can go the repair route vs replacement then I’ll be v.happy! It’s probably due an upgrade in fairness. Just regret not doing it sooner but it’s been a very good runner all in all. Only really consumable...

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

This could be best option…..still love the car tbh and don’t really want to sell. As much as I’d love another GeanTurismo I think I’ll end up going for a used Taycan and going electric. Will desperately miss the sound and the uniqueness of the Maserati!

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

That would certainly be my preference…

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

Thanks all. I’ve pinged Conaero and now A.S a private message. I’m guessing any part-ex will indeed hammer the price. Although i kinda of expect that as standard and wasn’t sure if they would just farm it straight out to auction given the age. I remember when I bought my Maserati they didn’t...

    Subframe…. or upgrade?

So my 2009 GranTurismo has got the point it needs a new front subframe. The usual bits around wishbones. Given the age of the car in struggling with the decision to part-ex and upgrade or spend the dosh required to fix it. Can anyone recommend an indie that has done this in the past? Any...

    Maserati Granturismo 2013 Headlining

Can also vouch for Vamped. Apparently the do a lot of Maseratis now so if you are near it’s a no brainer. I was charged £750 inc vat around Feb this year…

    Sway bars - fitting question

Thanks again! I saw your note about fitting the ABS sensor and hub on the other thread. Perhaps I might book in a visit and get a few jobs done at the same time! I’m near bedford so whilst not impossible - it’s a fair drive! How do I request a quote with you/your company? Do you have a website...

    Sway bars - fitting question

Hi All, I’m tempted to replace my sway bars on my 2009 GranTurismo S. As far as I can tell the old ones are ok but they they are now very rusty (I actually can’t see any paint!) and possibly have a little extra flex… Before I purchase I just wanted to check if I can get these out with the car...

    Rear hub

Ok, thanks gents. Good point RE: the potential loctight.

    Rear hub

I’ve also got to get one of my rears done. Do you think I can use a local trusted garage to get this done? Am I right in thinking the fronts are much easier?

    Rear drop link removal issues

Hi all, Just tried to remove my rear drop links (gran turismo s) but struggled to get the angle. The front was a piece of cake… It just happens the rears they have been tightened to the exact point where i can’t get the spanner either above or below on the side that connects to frame. I’m...

Question re: changing GT 4.7 shocks.

All done! Thanks for the support guys. Had to order a new vice, strut tool (I didn’t have an offset spanner that could reach the nut) and it was a great shout ordering a new bush. Wasn’t the easiest first time but would definitely consider tackling again now I’ve done it. Saying that, it’s...
