I've got a 4200 with the Quiksilver "straight through" rear boxes and it certainly isn't as loud as the 3200 above. I haven't got a video but its definitely deeper and louder than normal but not excessively so (my neighbours would struggle with the one above !).. so maybe the 3200 did have...

Yep me too, but 4200 still here so daren‘t buy until it’s sold or else I know won’t want to sell..

Thanks for all the comments Seriously temped to try the CC route if it hasn't gone in a couple of weeks. I sold a couple of cars for friend from Spain on there (a 205 Rallye and Mercedes 2.3 Cosworth) and they seemed to go for pretty what he expected to get privately... dealers bought them both.

Yes I think maybe it’s time to see what reserve they would offer as I am still amazed by the complete lack of even a cheeky “what‘s your best price” Mail... Is it just the price do we think or just a tiny market for 4200s and manuals in particular ?

Yep storage can get extortionate, but I’m not sure that us lot stuck down actually “love to get stitched“ it’s more we don’t have a choice.. supply and demand unfortunately. It’s definitely got worse in the last 3 or 4 years too. It’s sad because I’ve got a “lovely” old ex race/rally prepped...

I’m in Herts and storage (if you can find any) is anything from £100/month for council lock up with no power to £400 in a share. fully secured unit with power, lights etc... ”cheap” enough for me to consider keeping it would be around £600 a year I suppose...

The 4200 is the only car of “the fleet” left ... I’ve sold a 996 C4S, Clio V6, 190E cosworth and R35 GTR in the last couple of weeks but not so much as a phone call or email about the 4200 from AT. 2 or 3 enquiries from here but only Giorgio came to see and he bought the green 04 one at...

You could try motorvationclassics.com they are in Sarratt and look after quite a lot of older performance cars such as Astons, Jags and Ferraris as well as more modern stuff.
