GranSport exhaust mods - picture heavy thread

I heard you before I saw you! I joined the M25 at J18 and saw you tear up the fast lane then make for J17 @ 6pm today. Was in my 4200 but I suspect you wouldn't have seen me.

    Baby Seat in 4200/GS?

Thanks Adam - really useful to see the Maserati cushion. Now I know what I have to sculpt from some high-density foam. Also, how does the anchor point work with a baby seat? As a novice, I understand how a regular seat belt attaches to a baby seat but don't understand i) what you use to connect...

    Baby Seat in 4200/GS?

Very keen to find out options too. Our first is arriving in March and I'm having to consider chopping in the Maser. - had the rear bench out on Saturday and definately no Isofix - went to HR Owen to test fit a Maserati baby seat but it just doesn't sit well due to the scooped nature of the...

Turning the 4200 Coupe into a family car... Possible?

With our first due in March I thought I'd better get thinking about a family car. Audi Q5, then Kia Sportage (I know, I know), then B7 RS4 Avant. But the reality is we hardly drive anywhere as we live in Tower Bridge - the area, not actually in the bridge. We'll probably catch the bus a lot...

    Loudlink causing battery drain?

What's the issue? Mine works but there is a certain way with it. Has it worked previously? Also, I alway unplug mine for fear of battery drain. I rarely use the car. Cheers Ryan

    Anyone installed a Parrot Mki9100 in a 4200

I had to delete my Parrot to install my Loudlink - used same connector block on NIT. Is there is a splitter available? Does anyone have both running successfully?

    Stereo removal in 4200

Not done this myself but the unit comes out by popping it out. On the left hand side of the screen unit, level with the "7" button there is a recess which allows you to pop in a flat blade screwdriver / trim tool. Taking the unit apart looks to be precarious. 13+ screws and spring clips...

    Bluetooth Loudlink for 4200

The Parrot kit I had (Bluetooth) had to come out when I put the Loudlink in. From memory there is only one output/input point on the NIT. That said, if you have the Bluetooth Loudlink, a hands free kit is redundant.

    Bluetooth Loudlink for 4200

Same for me but much less of an issue as I have my AUX assigned to CD1 and run Spotify from my iPhone - so resumes from the point of disconnection of phone.

    Bluetooth Loudlink for 4200

I can only comment on the kit I have, the bog-standard version - not read enough about the Bluetooth version. All you get is the black (or in my case, grey) box. The way it works is: 1) rip apart your armrest console 2) unbolt the NIT 3) tear knuckles whilst blindly trying to connect a...
