I only ever used 95 octane in my Ghilbi S. Mostly supermarket stuff, with the odd tank of Shell, then whatever I could get hold of in Europe. I think it's the same Nettuno engine, which is itself built on the Alfa 90º V6 block IIRC, just lacking on the turbo front. It's a similar relationship between the two Ferrari built V6s from the previous generation. Its much cheaper to have a single engine with different turbo configurations...

I looked at the Lockton policy but the kicker was the 5000 miles limit. I like to drive my cars rather than just look at them ;) So in the end have gone with Footman James. Almost £1k less than my original quote, lots of options, including track day cover, agreed value, and unlimited miles.

Did some initial shopping around on GoCompare for individual policies and managed to get the total down from £2295 to £1320 for all three cars on the cheapest, and £1585 for Admiral Gold without any multi-car discount. Completely crazy.
