Anyone upgraded their HVAC controls to the touch variety?

That’s a good idea, mine is scratched too.

    Polybushes for front control arms

Thanks everyone for the info, on reflection of all said and state of wallet, I think I will go here as I only need top arm bushes at this time: https://www.superformance.co.uk/granturismo/suspension.html

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories) on MOT - Central Front Oil leak

Great thing about Halfords advanced is it has lifetime warranty. Take it back and even with no receipt, you get a new one. I had a ratchet that was 15 years old at least and took that back with no issues.

    Polybushes for front control arms

Hi all, well the clunking of the front upper control arms is now annoying me and I must get tracking done soon anyway. So I look to parts prices and standard aftermarket bushes are £320 plus VAT and shipping, so about £386. I then found these...

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories) on MOT - Central Front Oil leak

The good thing about a front timing cover oil leak is that it helps protect your subframe…

South West and Cotswold April meet - Sunday 28th April 2024

Nice to see you all today. It was great to give her a longer run too, although had a spot of bother at McDonalds in Witney when bumper met curb… Anyway borrowed a jack and put some wood I found under the wheel and no real harm done. That will teach us for stopping for unhealthy food…

Maserati Granturismo 2013 X Pipe Exhaust

Quick question as I did not cut into the half of the box with the wadding, are both pipes that go through there perforated? I have left my valves fully open for now, but one has started rattling against the bolt at times. I can easy fix that with dab of weld.

    Anyone tempted by this spoiler?

I thought not, but I just had a look and that might just work! Another job on the list…

Maserati Granturismo 2013 X Pipe Exhaust

I have not really noticed any difference internally. Whether valves open or closed, the pipes go through wadding. I did a video of it and it was a bit inconclusive, however it has given me the confidence to be more harsh in my next dive into the boxes. (Sorry to put another video link up)

    Anyone tempted by this spoiler?

Don’t worry, was tongue in cheek! Although imagine turning up at a meet with that, it would be funny just to see the reactions. I have the standard carbon one, but it looks tatty. I might wrap it (just the spoiler), I did think about getting the smaller lip ones, but the current spoiler has...

    Anyone tempted by this spoiler?

On my regular troll through eBay, I saw this, anyone tempted? I do however need to do something about my current manky looking spoiler if anyone has any suggestions?

South West and Cotswold April meet - Sunday 28th April 2024

I am thinking of popping by the CCH as long as I finish fixing my Volvo tomorrow. I seem to spend all my time fixing stuff now.

Maserati Granturismo 2013 X Pipe Exhaust

Well not quite relevant here, but I have the 4.2 and welded spindles onto the valves inside the box so that I could play with them and see how they work. Surprisingly they don’t open when revving in neutral and they only open up much above the 3500 when accelerating hard and quickly shut again...

    ZF gearbox service

I feel guilty plugging my video at this point (note I do not get anything at all from them), so I will just link the thread below and say that it is possible to go for integrated plastic sump, but the metal pans we have are good. Land rovers change to the metal pan as the plastic sump has a big...
