Have mentioned the forum to the new owner. It has gone down to London to pootle around at 20mph for a year or two.
It was a lovely motor, he got a great car at a cheap price.
I didn't know for sure, I suspected and called him on it. Regardless I would have insisted that anyone paying cash come to the bank to pay the money in, I assumed he would want to bank transfer.
Yes called the police and recorded the numberplate of the vehicle, though that turns out to have had...
Me: "Erm.... this briefcase full of cash is counterfeit"
Him: "It can't be, I've just got it from the bank"
Me: "Okay, come with me to pay it in at my bank"
Him: "Nah I haven't got time, what about if I give you an extra £2000?"
Me: "No thankyou old bean"
Quick update, new MOT done today, no advisories.
Also the last service was done at 38000 miles so there is another 2000 miles before it is due or December this year whichever comes first.
I've had it well over a year, that is longer than I keep most cars. I like it plenty, it's a lovely motor, but there are lots of lovely cars that I still haven't had yet.
My GT is a 2008 57 plate with 48'000 miles.
It has a full service history, all main dealer apart from one which was The Supercar Rooms. It is due a service now which is reflected in the price.
Brand new rear tyres have just been fitted and it has 12 months MOT.
