Door won't close - new variant

Similar problem happened again - battery died overnight. "Something" draining it I guessed. So put in new battery and when I closed the boot I noticed the little servo locking noise didn't sound. Aha! This is a locking problem... low and behold the manual latch on rear offside passenger...

QP front door electric door release not working after a flat battery.

Just check that the black lever within the inside of the handle is moving. Can get stuck in the pulled in position and mess things up. Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk

    Spacesaver wheel for QPV

Folks what a group! Two offers! Thanks so much and will be in touch once plans confirmed. Will be accompanied by a Ferrari on this trip... am guessing he'll be the one breaking down.... Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk

    Spacesaver wheel for QPV

Duh, you know you're right thanks. With no real need for boot space it's just a spare wheel I need. Better find a place to keep at home though I guess.

    Spacesaver wheel for QPV

Any ideas how I can source a Spacesaver for my QPV? She is on 19 wheels but I read some old posts on here suggesting only 18 available - confused? Thinking to have it for long drive around the Highlands where I suspect it could get me out of trouble. Obvs the Mrs won't be coming so plenty...

Hello I'm new to the group just purchased a 2011 Quattroporte .

Yes the thing is that often the mechanics haven't really worked on the older models. That's why an independent shop with experienced guys can really be better. Here in London the well-known used Maser dealer Nareman at Nuvola now has his own workshop team. BTW am not related just a happy...

HELP - Key stuck in ignition barrel, boot won't open... bad battery connection suspected

This way of retrievong the key works, done it several times. The problem of unlocking the boot when the key isn't catching sounds strange. Usually it's a case of the key being very stiff to turn in the boot lock rather than spinning in the barrel. Hopefully weight on the boot helps? Sent from...

Replacing the Grille and Air Conveyor

Apologies, I realise now torx screws only at top. I mistook the clips on bottom on the parts diagram for more screws. BTW I found this video of someone doing same job. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Replacing the Grille and Air Conveyor

I need to take out my QP grille and cannot see any screw heads. Are they hiding under the thin rubber strip just behind the ribs? In which case did you pull off and replace the strip? Thx Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Quattroporte V 4.7 Wanted

Beautiful, although I'm biased. I was going to offer my 2011 4.7 in same colour but the deal involved marrying one of my daughters and waiting to inherit.... ;-)

    So, I bought this QPV....

Those colours are rather nice... shows every speck of dirt so you know when to wash it ... ;-) Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Manual Door Latch Problem

I had exactly this just the other day. Forget rear door, it will work when front is sorted. You have to prise that latch out from the handle - only way to solve. I used long nosed pliers and a flat screwdriver at an angle... it actually scratched up the black latch a bit but at least didn't...

Your opinion please - should I accept

Take the money and am sure they will be very wary of pulling the same trick on somebody else. So you have a good chance of a personal and moral victory Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
