Hi everyone, 61 year old ardent Petrol head here.
Just purchased a 2014 Grand turismo Sport Auto with 26,000 on the clock and full dealership history.
At the point of writing I am on a train to Leeds to pick it up tomorrow morning.
Colour is white with black leather and white stitching...I’m so anal about my cars it took me three months and a load of travelling but as soon as I saw this one owner machine I was hooked.
The dealer has just had a Major service done and a new MOT so I’m hoping I should be ok.
Planning to ring Sports Italia next week and get them to cast their eye over the mechanicals just to ensure that all is spot on.
Have had many many cars , mainly Porsche 911s, Merc SL63 and in my younger days an Alfa sud 1.5 ti cloverleaf, Fiat 20v turbo coupe( which I adored), and a Maserati 4200 Cambio corsa coupe.
At 61 years young and having always loved the GT ,I have finally bought one.
The car is going into “Fresh layers “ for a complete paint protection treatment on Tuesday .
The daily driver is a Cayenne turbo which carries us and our big German Shepard around so the GTSport will not be a daily runner and kept in my garage a lot of the time.
I was advised by the dealer to buy a good Battery conditioner which I have done ( the latest C Tek) hopefully they are ok.
Looking forward to engaging on the site and talking to likeminded carnuts .
Any tips or knowledge passed on would be very gratefully welcome indeed.
