Hi Ive plugged texa with ignition on & driving, p0600 code came after put in reverse & R on dash flashed. Ive cleared all codes Brake lights are were not working when in reverse, but after fitting new brake light switch they work ok When R was flashing it was able to be driven in reverse...

Navcorr (neil) Great could i possibly organise to plug you reverse gear switch onto my car to eliminate the switch? I have now had flashing R when in reverse & brought up dtc p0600 communication error, which is a CAN error. All other errors are self made, by powering down system & unpluging...

Are we thinking that the relay is playing up?

The battery is new ish (year old) & charged last week on a conditioner, but always shows low on the cars voltage on the dash when turned on, but goes to normal when running, i assume this is standard. & yes the R is on the dash when in reverse

Sorry, one assumes the brake light switch is not on this circuit?

Navcorr They are different part no’s on lhd, one assumes the only differnece is which side the auto switch is on, plug looks the same

Well ive tested the reverse switch, relays & fuses & all ok, bypassed relay & lights work. Cleared codes Wednesday & then took the reverse switch box out & checked it & put it back, Checked codes again & we had P1602 & P1747, but these could be due to taking out switch box, So cleared codes...

I will have to look again as didnt jot number down, but it can up with reverse light switch
