    Warning!

It seems I wasn't far off when I said you wouldn't get very far with Maserati or a government department, so instead of going around in circles slagging Maserati off perhaps someone well connected with the manufacture of car components, surely someone on here is, could look at some pressed...

    Warning!

Mark, as someone who has built and restored cars for years it came as no surprise when I first read this thread, most of the cars affected are ten years old or considerably older, so in all that time this problem was never an issue. Wishbone failure is not uncommon on modern cars, due mainly to...

And how many people have replaced all there wishbones? Geoff

    Warning!

It's a month since I posted this and not one independent or specialist replied, so I got on the phone and it was of no surprise that a great many more owners had done exactly the same. The general consensus of the trade is as we all know there is a problem but its only affecting around 2 to 3%...

    Warning!

I like many other owners of these cars have followed this thread with interest, the one thing that strikes me is the lack of input from independent specialist, surely if inspected cars at these service centres were coming in in any worryingly high numbers they would have raised the mater...

    Warning!

Thankfully my car is OK, but I would like to know what percentage of cars are affected because if its less than 20% l wouldn't build your hopes up. I for one would have bitten the bullet and bought new wishbone's and put it down as another expensive expense of running an Italian super car, l...

    New Owner

I built a 7 type car it was good fun but I had to wear a helmet and thought that it was no more than a track car and a death trap on the road, and the cobra I built wasn't far behind, but at least I didn't need the helmet in that. Loving the 4200 by the way. Geoff

After nine months waiting - the first drive

Must admit after the cobra I wondered a bit about the power and gear change, well all I can say I am not disappointed its almost as quick, the gear change is great, a dam sight quicker than a tremec and I am sure the car is 100 percent safer, the whole family loves ours and I am really pleased...
