I Suppose it depends who i pay if i buy it, my deposit may be his selling fee? If i pay Nuvola direct I assume this is who my contract is with, if i pay the seller than my contract would be with them. This hasn't put me off as was willing to buy privately and will check the car as if i was.

I don't really know, iv paid my deposit to Nuvola which i thought was weird as he said i was buying off the customer and not Nuvola so i guess if i ended up taking him to court i probably would be covered under the consumer rights act?
