PPI on a 4200 in London?

Nothing urgent or major identified. Missing undertray under the bumper, rear boot not opening electronically so poss a fried solenoid. Some surface non-structural corrosion on front sub-frame so a rub-down/waxoyl needed. Non-urgent they found a little play on the rear trackrod bearing and front...

    Independent maserati specialists

Good to know about more places round Edinburgh. Another one actually in town is David Philips Autos-he looked after my CC and was super helpful and knowledgeable. Porsches are probably half his business but substantial Ferrari / Maserati experience too.

PPI on a 4200 in London?

PS. Beautiful GT. Was seriously considering a Sport in Trionfale a few months ago but decided I needed a stick

PPI on a 4200 in London?

Cheers pal much appreciated. Yesterday the vendor (who is time-poor / cash-rich) had it picked up for a service by Jardine Ferrari so for the sake of expediency I asked them to tack on a PPI. It's had a fairly pampered life but I'll still need to put their comments through a reality filter....

PPI on a 4200 in London?

Nuvola is on the west that's a pretty awful journey. McGrath Maserati and Auto Alfa Basildon look the 'closest'.

PPI on a 4200 in London?

Hi it's in Loughton. It also needs a major service either paid by me or the vendor. Dropping off not impossible. Am up in Scotland so don't have much local knowledge..

PPI on a 4200 in London?

Thanks-yeah I used them once before-very good. They even picked up though I think they were reasonably close in SW London. Helped me dodge a bullet-also on a GT.

Hi I'd like to get a PPI done on a manual 4200. Can anyone recommend someone? The car is in the Epping Forest area. Thanks!

    Query about Ghibli boot/trunk trim

I wouldn’t worry about the mileage more the service history and if the discs have been changed. The Ghibli needs a decent slug of power as it is a heavy lump being on the QP6 platform so needs good power and strong brakes.

Interesting. That non-S you highlighted is a great price but you'll still be down £10+k depreciation after 18 months IMO. Do the non-S versions still get inferior brakes now? I considered betting a 3-4 yr old non S and chipping it but went with the 6-piston front brakes of the S in the end.

Did they bring them back? The Ghibli S is in the current Maserati UK configurator?

cheers! PS. Hold out for an S if you can! This is not a bad deal IMO...https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202007040865053 (also I know the guy has some wiggle room on asking price)

    Query about Ghibli boot/trunk trim

PS. Also resisted the temptation to get a GT and keep the BMW. Even struck a deal on a 4.7S but inspection revealed too many issues such as rotting subframe (in a 2010 main dealer serviced car!). Worked out that the only GT I'd be willing to get would be the Sport and £35k for a weekend car too...

    Query about Ghibli boot/trunk trim

Is a Petrol S version 66 plate. Previously was driving a 330d GT and a 4200 Cambiocorsa for weekends, but wanted to consolidate to 1 car that was a bit of fun but also carry wife+3 kids. My previous 'family cars' were all Alfas- two 156s and a 159 (all petrol) so nice to get back to the benzina...
