    New starter motor for QPIV

They are easily repairable. Chances are the 'new' unit you will buy will be a remanufactured one anyway. Try to find someone locally to do the repair, it's a vary simple procedure. The problem is getting to it, as you have to remove the inlet manifold to remove the starter.

    QP4 intercooler pipes

These guys make a full set of hoses for the 3200gt and they can be made to look stock (black matte without branding). We've used them on a friend's 3200 and the quality and service was good. Maybe they would be interested on making a set for the Ghibli II/QP4 platform. I'm not affiliated to...

    Classiche parts getting shape

You're missing the point, it's not about producing moulds, these already exist as the parts were as of very recently in production. It's a management decision to order batches of parts to have available for consumables. As mentioned above this is not a profit making enterprise for Maserati, it's...

    Classiche parts getting shape

This is a digitized drawing. I've been working with cad and cam manufacturing for the past 20 years, so i'm very familiar with the process, but this is besides the point I was trying to make. My argument was focused on consumables which were available up to a couple of years ago (so obviously...

    Classiche parts getting shape

Here's the drawing, can we get moving please?:laughing: My point is that most of the consumables are already digitized and in possession with the various subcontractors. Not having these available is a management decision, not a digitization issue.

    Classiche parts getting shape

Considering it's now virtually impossible to get brake discs on a Ghibli 2, I consider the statement regarding digitizing plans etc to be pointless. First you start with consumables, then you move to obsolete easily worn out parts and then to all the rest. Digitizing first before making...

    1996 Ghibli GT front discs?

This place offers a split system for the fronts, but nothing for the rears. https://www.ricambituning.it/en/product1.asp?id=110&cat=23&mn=MASERATI&sr=Ghibli&md=668

    1996 Ghibli GT front discs?

Bringing this topic back to life. Anyone have any clue where one can get discs for the Ghibli? Anything Brembo seems to be sold out at the moment. Tarox are stupidly expensive at 2600 euros for a set of 4. I don't like the idea of using washers so the Alfa 166 solutions is not for me.

    Gearbox oil

Coming back to this, following internet suggestions regarding similar Getrag boxes used on BMWs, I replaced the gearbox oil with Redline MTL 75W-80. The change is phenomenal. Gears engage easily from cold and fast changes are now possible without crunching noises. Overall I'm very sattisfied.

    Coilover suspension upgrade (BiTurbo)

I have to agree with these findings. I also run a custom non x-piped stainless steel system on my 2.0 Ghibli, which I initially had made in order to be able to measure emissions from each cylinder bank separately. I found the engine to be a lot more free revving especially in low to mid rpm and...

    Gearbox oil

It's obviously annoying for one :)

    Gearbox oil

My bearing also rattles, is there a cure for this?

    Gearbox oil

Yeah sorry, car is a Ghibli II 2.0 with the 6-speed Getrag box.

    Gearbox oil

Hello everybody, The gearbox in my car is a bit tired in the change from 1st to 2nd. It's not yet crunchy but it does not like to be rushed so I think it's due for an oil change. Does anyone have any recommendation for an oil which will improve things? I have heard good things about Redline MTL...

    DEAD STARTER MOTOR?

This is still possible on the Ghibli, however my starter is officially dead :)
