I have to raise it lift it by hand, The buttons in the glove box will screw up the window and back down and the other one will lock the Lid.

The roof doesn't move at all.. pump comes on for about 3 seconds and stop. thats it..

When I press the button to open the roof the pump comes on for approx. 3 seconds then stop, thats all that happens. the light in the dash starts blinking.the top wont unlock or attempt to move.. thanks in advance for all the info.

OK, the worm gears is what screws the top up and down.
