Very intelligent choice, congrats!
And cheers for your heart over brains attitude, wish more people had that.
The road would be a much nicer place to be around.
Thanks, but the seller claims the Vossen wheels have Tuv papers and are intended for the Ghibli, but have that way to low ET value.
If you select them now, 35 ET is the lowest available value for a Ghibli.
I decided not to buy these ET 20 Vossens btw.
RIP David.
Years ago I bought a torque tube from him and made the trip to his place to meet him in person.
Wondered quite often how he was lately, since his website was not updated for a while.
Great guy, sad to hear this news.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_M276_engine
The 330hp version is not stronger compared to the MB engine, the AMG versions are getting very close to the 410hp version. I think these engines are a lot more efficient especially during low loads, due to very lean burn strategy.
Must say I am wondering also, why our V6 turbos are that much more thirsty. If you take for example the very comparable Mercedes M276..... Both direct injection V6, with turbo charging.
MB being a lot more efficient!
What could be the culprit?
Need some advice.
Someone offers a set of Vossen 21 inch rims.
They came from a Ghibli SQ4.
But when i asked about the ET values, “a big red sign popped up”.
Factory rims have a 45 spec, The Vossens have ET20
That means 25 millimeter Closer to the fender edge.
And more important, the front...
Nice car!
And indeed, driving a petrol Ghibli is a great experience.
Keep the battery alive using a tender and you will be OK.
(Experienced some strange faults, due to battery voltage too low)
Regarding S spec mapping:
Who supplies that?
A lot of reputable software suppliers state max 50hp and...
Had that problem with 5th gear right after buying the car years ago. Sometimes it did manage to select 5th, but it sounded bad.
As if a synchro was shot. Very often it did not do 5th, went back to 4th. Did som Road tests with a mechanic listening near the road, while selecting 5th.
He was sure...
That Lhd MCV is a very interesting priced car for the LHD market.
If i did not own a Gransport allready, i would be very interested, despite the black in and outside.
Would have been great with the dark red alcantara/leather interior.
