    Maserati Specialist Recommendation

It's also worth bearing in mind that Emblem will happily drop you off / collect you from Bournemouth railway station, and from Bournemouth you can get a cross country service that stops at Reading and Banbury (and a stack of other places), making it far more accessible than you might first...

    MOT shame.

I've had my Gran Cabrio for 4.5 years - it was on 22,500 when I bought it, it's now on 56,000. I've got another roadtrip coming up in 6 weeks (circumnavigation of the Iberian peninsula, 6 weeks duration) which will add another 4, possibly 5K and will definitely take it over 60,000. I really...

    Alpine Tour 2024

What car are you doing this in? I'm trying to work out the next road trip in my Gran Cabrio - we've done the Italian Lakes, Tuscany, Corsica and Spain and we've got a complete circumnavigation of the coast of Spain and Portugal booked starting in May this year (6 weeks for that one) Puglia is...

Centennial Wheels Refurb - how and who?

Bespoke Alloys at the Denham roundabout. Did mine, and also regularly do work for main dealers.

    Headlamp adjustment for Europe

I dug into this quite deeply when I first got my Gran Cabrio, and eventually came to the conclusion that there's nothing you can do. I think I may even have reached the conclusion that because of the beam pattern it's not actually necessary (but that may just be wishful thinking). We have done 6...

Stuff you've found on TV worth watching

Just finished watching all 3 series of the War of the Worlds remake on My5. Thought is was really good.

How to fix front plate on a 2013 Sport using the OEM bracket?

Your guesswork is correct. The screw goes into the brass very easily so the bush doesn't spin. Then it compresses the rubber which stops it spinning and also holds it in place. It's a very simple job.

    Tyre recommendations for GT

Wear on the inside edge is definitely typical. Apparently there are some geo settings to mitigate this, but I've never been able to find out what they are. I took my car to wheels in motion (Black Boots) in Chesham and all they were able to do was set it to factory. PS4s are great, but in the...

    Alfa 4C - 400bhp

I had a 4C Spider with an Alfaworkshop re-map and their fast-road front suspension mods. It was £1,000 for the re-map, including a spare ECU so you could swap back in 10 mins, and around £400 for the suspension work. It was unbelievably fast. You really had to re-calibrate what was safe and...

    Tyre Sealant

Firstly, I know the stuff is worse than useless, but I'd like to have something as close to standard in the boot. I used up my sealant on a puncture a few months ago - it didn't actually work, but that's besides the point. I tried to order a new canister from Eurospares, but after about 6...

Boot space of various Gran Cabrio models

Hi - does anyone know if the interior boot space is identical between the Gran Cabrio MC and the Gran Cabrio and Gran Cabrio sport? My understanding is that the MC is slightly longer than the other two models, but I'm not sure where this extra space goes. Thanks

Anyone have a set of Neptune wheels for sale?

Any thoughts on the benchmark price for a set of 20" alloys that fit a Gran Cabrio? Style and colour mostly irrelevant, as they would just be for winter tyres. There's a set on ebay currently at £620, and another set (complete with dodgy tyres) for £900 or best offer. I presume the benchmark...

Soft bags for back seat of a Gran Cabrio

Does anyone have any recommendations for a soft bag for luggage that sits nicely on the back seat of a Gran Cabrio. Ideally something pretty much cube shaped.

Parking Sensors, Parking Brake, ESC & ASR all at the same time (sort of)

Battery is less than 2 years old. I can't currently find the email with the exact date and brand / model of battery. However, I've read enough on here to know that batteries on these cars are a regular problem. I'm in Italy at the moment, so will need to find somewhere that will do supply and...

Parking Sensors, Parking Brake, ESC & ASR all at the same time (sort of)

Right - currently on a road trip, and as seems to be the norm on these occasions, I'm getting some error messages. It started with just parking sensors, which came and went 2 or 3 times over a couple of days. Then I got EPB failure along with ESC and ASR failure. No change in the way the car...
