It is a 2012 model, wear was on the fabric of the roof,maserarti siad that as the mechanism had been upgraded since I bought it they would fit the latest mechanism. But i had any iossues with mechanism just wear on the fabric roof.

Thanks guys, got key out, opened boot from inside, got battery on CTek charger, its saying bulk charging, will give it a while then look to get a new battery.

Update, using key in lock and jiggling the handle buttons door opened, tried to start but no ignition and unusual beeing , now I cantt get the key out of the ignition and also drivers door wont close. Help.

My 2012 grancabrio will not unlock, had it serviced 2 weeks ago , new key fob battery and have driven it a few times since service. This morning open car with key, put bags in boot , closed boot and then could not open drivers door, tried using key to remote open but nothing no beeps nothing...

Thanks guys, its for a service at Emblem, they have a recommended guy but its in a premium covered unit so a bit expensive ( I love my 12 year old Grandcab but it doesnt need pampering that much ) will give Dan a ring.
