I have a Maserati 4200 cc which seems to need a new clutch. It has been 'slipping' for a few weeks. I've taken it into a main Maserati dealer but they can't deal with old Maserati's! Since then the gears have gone into neutral on my driveway and will not start. All the dashboard lights are on...
Problem Solved! Unfortunately none of the above worked so I decided to 'bite the bullet' and check every fuse in the car! It turns out that the 'under the dash board' fuse box contained a 10amp red fuse number 34 that controlled the '+15 electronic injection' which had blown. Replaced the fuse...
Thanks

I've tried that- the problem is that it does not do what it says in the manual .i.e. the light does not flash for 4 seconds, it just stays on! Nothing happens!! Guess it's off to Maserati again! Should have bought an Aston! : (
The short story;
It seems that the engine immobiliser is stopping my car from starting? I've tried the restart procedure (page 148 of the manual) but no luck. Any ideas of how to turn this immobiliser off?
The Long Story;
So I have been fitting a rear view camera onto my 2004 4200. Everything...
I meant I was going to use a self tapper and weld that on - the flower type pin is well shot! In fact, the pin is not in much better shape! I'll give it a go and if needs be, I'll have to buy a new mechanism!!
Thanks. I've already drilled the hole but there are not many of the 'teeth' left on the 'pin'. I think I will try a self-tapping bolt and then also spot weld it in place! Have a good holiday.
My driver's side window stopped working a few days ago. I've dismantled and discovered the regulator pin has broken. I don't have the manufacturers number for it so finding it hard to find in the UK. They do sell aftermarket pins in America however, shipping will take two weeks! I'm keen to get...
Ok, getting somewhere, just found the loose wire/connector in pic3 is for the diversity box, as they are unconnected under the rear headrests! Still no signal for the radio but, the battery is almost flat now so will continue investigation tomorrow!
Thanks, Just removed center armrest and all the connections seem to be plugged into the unit including the ariel. I'm starting wonder if it just a faulty radio!
Ha, no I hope not as I've been trying to get it started for months! There doesn't seem to be power in the mulitchanger so checking the A pillers for now. Thanks
Hi, Thanks.
Have at this moment got the armrest apart! Seems OK. The multichanger does not seem to power up at all. But the one in arm rest does. I keep searching for any disconnected power wires for CD mulit changer. And guess it's remove the A pillers now!
The loose wire could well be PDC...
