I have a 2021 QP6 [345]. I was actually looking for the higher powered 'S' version of the V6 but was limited by what was available and ultimately decided to prioritise age/mileage, condition and spec.
I don't feel that performance is lacking - the car is plenty quick enough 99% of the time and...
I have personal experience of Autoshield and can vouch for their high quality service, knowledge of Maseratis and reasonable rates. No hesitation in recommending
I'm thinking of buying a QP6, but it doesn't have paddle shifters. I use these quite a lot on my current car and would miss not having them. Is it possible to have these retro fitted or would it be ruinously expensive?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
The side marker lights for the US are incorporated in the rear lamp clusters (not the bumper). They can be activated in UK models simply by adding the relevant fuse.
That does look very tasty. I think it's the lack of chrome plus the gorgeous wheels (not black) and the contrasting light interior. Oh, and the V8 helps too!
The Ghibli looks quite good and stands out on the road, but it needed a V8 from the start to act as a halo variant and make it a bit special for enthusiasts of the marque. The rear quarters are also too cramped given the sector it's competing in.
I heard that a new model will replace both...
I'm struggling to find MGT as well. Will probably choose between K1 and AMS (Aston Martin). MO (Mercedes) and *(BMW) also seem to be available. It's difficult to find information on the differences between the different types.
I don't think the depreciation on a QV will be much worse than on a new M3 or C63. It might even be better given its relative rarity and 'want one' factor. They do look fantastic in the metal and it's great that they seem to drive so well. Can't wait to try one.
Great article. It properly captures what makes Alfas, and the 4c in particular, special. It's not perfect by any means, but all the more loveable for it. The follow-up comments from US readers are also interesting and generally positive.
