Alternative parts, what everyone needs to know...

Thanks mate, fair point - and point taken. I posted in this thread in hope of there being some alternative part available. It seems I just got a tip, but if it doesn't work out I'll be sure to create a new thread in order to continue the discussion there.

Alternative parts, what everyone needs to know...

Thanks for the tip, what car brand is that originally intended for?

Alternative parts, what everyone needs to know...

Thanks, Not according to themselves. I needed two and ordered them from Eurospares, I received one and they stated they cannot supply the second one.

Alternative parts, what everyone needs to know...

Does anyone know where I could source a pin with MPN 374630321 for the clutch of a manual 3200GT (item 005 in parts diagram 041). Both Eurospares and Ferrariparts stated they cannot supply it and that the item is no longer available from the factory.

    Maserati Shed

Cheers for getting back to me! I tried e-mail, WhatsApp and phone (even though my English is probably unintelligible anyway) without luck, as far as I could tell, and hence I figured I'd try the board as members have been very helpful in the past. Didn't find any e-mails in my spam folder...

    Maserati Shed

Greetings to the board! Not sure whether this is the right sub-forum for this post, and if not I apologize in advance and humbly ask a moderator to move it. Just wanted to check whether anyone knows anything about the operational status of Maserati Shed? I ordered an upgraded clutch kit from...

REplacement for the HAVC unit on a 3200

Reviving an old thread here... Seems I'm in the market for a new control unit. Does anyone have any tip on where to look? Found one in France on eBay, but a bit pricey at €1,500.

'99 3200 GT: Clutch pedal stuck, cannot shift into gear

No real luck in finding any alternative part, would you be able to provide some kind of pointer please?

'99 3200 GT: Clutch pedal stuck, cannot shift into gear

Turns out it's the slave cylinder that tendered its resignation. Am I correct that 388200104 is the correct part number for this?

'99 3200 GT: Clutch pedal stuck, cannot shift into gear

By the way (not sure whether it adds anything to the discussion), the error code that shows up is "P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor" or something similar.

'99 3200 GT: Clutch pedal stuck, cannot shift into gear

I've not noticed any fluid loss, though I've yet to take a peek under the bonnet once the car was towed to the office. Will attempt to do it during lunch break though... Cheers for the tip!

'99 3200 GT: Clutch pedal stuck, cannot shift into gear

Been trying over the summer to sort some issues with the car, mainly concerned with the pedal potentiometer. Now that all issues, bar the climate control, seemed to be resolved, I figured I'd take the car to work before tucking it away into winter hibernation. After refuelling I accelerated...

Adjusting high idle on 3200 GT (manual)

Thanks for all of the replies. If that high rpm is the factory setting for idling then I guess there's nothing much to be done. At cold start I see 1,000-1,100 rpm idle, with engine warm or hot it's usually about 950 rpm. It just seemed a bit high to me (e.g. my BMW/Alpina B10 V8 would idle at...

Adjusting high idle on 3200 GT (manual)

Greetings to the board, Is there any way to adjust the idle beyond making adjustments to the pedal potentiometer? Car usually sees 1,000-1,100 rpm at idle, which I'd say is a bit high for a V8 (although a small volume one at only 3.2 liters). The cas already has both the contactless...

    Clutch replacement on 3200

Greetings to the board, I've started to experience clutch slippage (revs rising but speed not increasing, especially on higher gears), and so I bought the 3-piece kit from Maserati Shed. Looks like top notch stuff! Now for my questions, could I expect any kind of workshop to solve the clutch...
