Our 2 daily drivers. M2 (which is mega good fun) and 530d M Sport Touring (which is for kids, dogs and bikes). The 5er is such a great family car, and our is super high spec with oyster leather, panoramic roof and so on. The M2 is a rascal. Brilliant on twisty backroads. Noisy. Slidey.

Lovely BMW. More of an E30 M3 successor than the M3’s that came after it. Love it.

Current daily is creamy, quiet V8, smooth riding and quiet coupe with none of the excitement or theatre of a Maserati so a nice contrast;
Exactly.
This one also has active body control I think?
”Smooth operators” they are.

It does and provides both a great ride and no body roll. I believe it was the source of a great Merc advert;
I think it is pretty expensive when it goes wrong but mine has only done 50k miles so hopefully it can do its job for a while yet. Super comfortable and large seats help too.

I love the 2nd-gen CL... proper noughties executive excess. The list prices on those things was bonkers back then and when adjusted for inflation now...

Classic 2.5 1998 with only 40k miles in rare Ocean Jade. Sunshine car.
never driven one but I have heard you can wring their necks and have great fun without losing your license! Proof that 200 horses are enough in something light?
