Any idea where the bonus and qualy points come from? I presume bonus is related to how many places you move up from your starting position-but how much- and the qualy? I don’t see where Alonso gets 5 points extra for his 5th place.

Don't forget any team changes you make before lockdown of race 2 are free so one last opportunity to not use your allocation for the rest of the season.
Not sure how much I like the Aston result. Can they be consistently in contention...? Would be exciting if so.

Didn’t realise that. I think we should really be locked in from the start.

Yes, you do get points for places made up as I had Gasly and he got as many point as Alonso in mine.

Exactly a quick driver sent to the back of the grid with penalties could pick up a haul of points if they made it through to podium

Have you seen your global ranking. I am 3411 out of over 15000. Not to shabby.
Yes I saw - I’m 650 so not bad either given I don’t pay - getting an extra 5Mln must be worth quite a few potential extra points, so tempting to fork out 10 quid…..Had I known about the extra points for outscoring or qualifying your team mate I wouldn’t have chosen Perez & Stroll, so I’ll definitely change my drivers for Jeddah

Well you have a chance to change your team for the next race not that you need any more points with the selection you had ;)

I got lucky with the prediction this time - 70 points came from that, although to be honest it was not a difficult one if you just went with the testing results. I doubt anyone got fastest lap.

Made one change: swapped out AlphaTauri for Aston...was rather surprised by their showing. I have not had any time to follow anything in depth, so it's all knee-jerk and pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey here.

Good call that change. I think I shall leave what I have just to see how au would do from my original thoughts.

I thought Williams did well at the last GP, both drivers made places during the race and Sargent looks promising (for a yank who normally turn left, another left, and left again, and left once more ;) )

Red Bull looked comfortably fastest followed by Ferrari but they seem to have the same issues as last year reliability and strategy questions. The Williams looked good, both drivers performed better than I was expecting. Aston were the stand out over performers it will be interesting to see if it continues at other races. Mercedes started better than last year but still behind but they are persevering with those non-existent side pods or are they?

Surprised by Alpha Tauri and McLaren lack of pace. Ocon had a nightmare with penalties and it seems Haas have stopped crashing but not improving much in performance. Alfa and Alpine look mid table again so nothing new
